Lost or Stolen eID
The person is obliged to immediately report the disappearance, suspected abuse or finding of identity card to the nearest police administration or police station.
If the identity card disappeared or was found abroad, the person is to report its disappearance or finding to the nearest diplomatic mission or consular office of the Republic of Croatia which shall immediately inform the police administration or the police station that issued the identity card.
Based on the report, the disappeared identity card shall be recorded as invalid, after which a request for suspension of the certificate will automatically be initiated.
The disappearance of an identification card or suspicion of abuse, for the purpose of suspension of the certificate, may be reported by using electronic services on the portal My eID.
