Agreement on certification services is signed when submitting a request for the issuance of identity cards between natural persons, the applicant for certification on the electronic identity card, and Agencija za komercijalnu djelatnost d.o.o. (AKD), registered in the records of the ministry responsible for economic affairs as a certification authority that provides services of qualified certification.

By signing the Agreement, the applicant for signature certification gives AKD the right to manage his/her personal data required for issuing and managing certificates. On the other hand, AKD undertakes appropriate dealings with clients in accordance with the Law on Protection of Personal Data and related by-laws.

The rights and obligations related to the use of certificate

When submitting a request to be issued an identity card, a person signs a Certification Services Agreement by which he/she declares that he/she is aware of the rights and obligations related to the use of certificate.

The rights and obligations of all participants in the business process of issuance and the use of certificate are an integral part of:

AKD PKI General Rules for providing certification services define a set of rules and safety requirements that must be applied when managing certification processes for electronic identity card (eID) and the use of certificate on eID.

On the basis of that document, the suitability of the type of certificate for a particular purpose or a group of users and/or electronic service is established.

HRIDCA Rules of Procedure for certification define the procedures and measures applied by AKD d.o.o. and the Ministry of the Interior, in the management procedures for certification of electronic identity card (eID), natural persons and interested parties when using the certificate on eID.

The Regulation is in compliance with General Rules for providing certification services issued by AKD PKI.
